How We Work
A short, predictable process with a fixed fee, a written scope and a date you can plan around.
Five steps, start to finish
Most engagements run end to end in two to three weeks. Larger pieces of work are broken into stages so you can stop after any one of them.

Initial conversation
Twenty to thirty minutes to understand what you do, what is getting in the way and what you have already considered. If we are not the right people to help, we will say so here.
- 02
Scope and fixed fee in writing
You receive a short document setting out what we will review, what we will deliver, what it costs and when you will have it. Nothing begins until you confirm it.
- 03
Review and research
We look at what is in place, speak to the people who use it, and compare the realistic options. Findings are recorded as we go rather than reconstructed at the end.
- 04
Recommendation drafted
A written recommendation with the reasoning, the alternatives and the costs. Where there is no clear winner we say that too, and explain what would decide it.
- 05
Handover and questions
A walkthrough session, and a defined period for follow-up questions at no extra cost. After that you can act on the work with any supplier you choose.

Entry-level work is always quoted as a fixed fee. We do not work on commission, and we do not invoice for time beyond the agreed scope without written agreement first.
