Who we are
TBR Consultancy (“we”, “us”) provides independent technology and digital advisory services to individuals and small businesses. We are registered in England & Wales under company number 16577986 and we are the controller of the personal information described in this policy.
You can contact us about anything in this policy at support@tbr-consultancy.services or on +44 7799 743250.
What we collect
- Contact details you give us: name, email address, telephone number and preferred method of contact.
- Details about your business or working situation that you choose to share, including the tools, systems and devices you use.
- Correspondence: messages, emails and notes taken during calls and review sessions.
- Payment records: amounts paid and dates. Card details are handled by our payment provider and are not stored by us.
- Website data: standard technical information such as pages visited and approximate location, collected through the cookies described in our cookie policy.
Why we use it
We use your information to understand your situation, carry out the work you have asked for, produce written recommendations, answer your questions, keep records of the work carried out, take payment and meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Our lawful bases are the performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in running and improving our business, your consent where you have given it, and compliance with our legal obligations. Where we rely on legitimate interests we have considered the effect on you and limited what we collect to what the work requires.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information and we do not share it with software vendors or suppliers. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, and only as far as necessary:
- Our email and file storage providers, who hold correspondence and working documents.
- Our payment provider, who processes payments on our behalf.
- Our accountant, for statutory bookkeeping and tax purposes.
- Professional advisers or authorities, where we are legally required to disclose information.
How long we keep it
Correspondence and working documents are kept for the duration of the engagement and for fourteen days afterwards, then deleted. Payment and invoicing records are kept for six years to meet UK tax requirements. Website analytics data is retained in aggregate form.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to request a copy of the information we hold about you, to have inaccurate information corrected, to ask us to delete information we no longer need, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent where consent was the basis for processing.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@tbr-consultancy.services. We will respond within one month.
